Vastu Shastra is the ancient Indian science of spatial arrangement. While not legally binding, over 60% of Indian home buyers consider Vastu compliance during property selection — and it affects resale value.
North, north-east, or east-facing main doors are considered most auspicious in Vastu. South-facing entrances are acceptable with remedies. West-facing homes are neutral. Many builders now market 'Vastu-compliant' layouts.
